Welcome to Scribble House!
Our mission is to provide a space where Pittsburgh's writers and artists can gather, create, learn, and perform.
While we work toward that goal, we're doing things around the city to start building the community that will serve as Scribble House's foundation.
Registration is officially open in all categories for the Scribble House Lit Fest! The Lit Fest will happen at Spirit in Lawrenceville on Sunday, November 16th from 2-8 PM. It's free to register as an attendee, a press or journal to sell books, or for self-published authors to sell their books in the Pop-Up Bookstore (new feature for 2025!). This year we're also adding author readings and an open mic to the event. Click on the link above to learn more or sign up!
We also run the Feedback Open Mic series at Nico's Recovery Room in Bloomfield (next one will be July 28, 2025) and the twice-monthly Send It! group on Zoom (July dates are the 9th and the 27th). We'll also be at a few other events in the coming weeks, including:
- July 12th, 10am-3pm: Printed, Posted, and Published (Cambria County Library, Johnstown, PA)
- July 19th, 10am-2pm: Beaver County Community Day (CCBC Campus, Monaca, PA)
- July 25-27: Confluence (Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel, Coraopolis, PA)
